Parisian style offers a beautifully accessible interpretation of classic French elegance, and it’s important to understand the distinctions between it and classic American style. While both celebrate timelessness, the American classic often favors a restrained color palette. Parisian women, on the other hand, embrace bolder hues and patterns, adding vibrant pops of color like red. Yet, beyond this nuanced distinction, both styles share a similar foundation. It’s the slightly more trend-forward edge of French style that truly resonates with me, which is why I’ve built Fifth and Paris around the concept of blending that Parisian flair with the dynamic energy of a New York City chic.
