I love Paris in Spring, but beware; it can still be rainy and cold. If you’re looking for inspiration for what to wear in Paris in Spring, I am sharing 12 outfits that take the weather into account. These looks rely on a travel capsule wardrobe, making mixing and matching pieces to create multiple outfits incredibly easy. The weather in Paris isn’t quite like London or Ireland, but it can be damp and misty. Umbrellas should always accompany your travel plans, as should a warm coat that can be layered. A trench coat with a removable lining is a great option, too. I chose one without, but for removable linings, I like this one and this one, which is more budget-friendly.
These 12 What to Wear in Paris in Spring outfits are all based on a capsule wardrobe. When I am traveling, I prefer to travel with as little baggage as possible. Coming home, I don’t mind as much if I have shopped and need to add a bag or check my luggage. But when I am headed somewhere, I prefer to have my luggage with me, when possible, and pack a capsule wardrobe that allows me to create multiple looks with as few pieces as possible.
The Capsule Wardrobe | What to Wear in Paris in Spring
This French capsule wardrobe consists of 22 pieces and can all easily fit into a carryon if you pack smarty. Compression packing cubes are key when I travel. They will help you maximize space and stay organized. I always wear my coat on the plane as it is too bulky to fit into luggage, and you can easily stow it in the overhead bins once onboard your flight, or, if you get cold like me, drape it over your shoulders or legs for extra warmth. I find planes to be chilly.
